The approach

The military taught her two things that carry over: drill the fundamentals before you chase outcomes, and write the plan down so anyone can run it. Both ideas are in every lesson here.

The training itself is positive reinforcement. You pay for the behavior you want, and you stop paying for behavior you don't. There is no choke chain, no shock collar, no dominance theater. There is also no "be patient and love wins." You set clear criteria, you mark the moment the dog meets it, and you build from there.

What you get

Twenty-four lessons across three tiers. The first five cover day-one setup, motivation, housetraining, and crating. The next eleven are the obedience progression: mechanics, sit and down, prompting, cues, impulse control, barking, and public work. The last eight cover proofing, fear prevention, tricks, and adapting the program for puppies and senior dogs.

Each lesson has a short video, a written breakdown, a practice checklist, and a place to take notes. You can pause, resume, and review on your phone the morning of a training session.

Who it's for

New owners who want a plan instead of a pile of YouTube videos. Adopters working with a rescue dog. Anyone who tried "be the alpha" advice and watched it backfire. Military families and first responders are welcome — the structure here will feel familiar.

Who it's not for

Dogs with a bite history, severe resource guarding, or active separation panic need an in-person behaviorist, not a video course. The lessons here will not substitute for medical advice from your vet either. If your dog is in crisis, get a professional in the room first.
